Privacy policy

This policy explains how Heedoo (“we”, “us”), a business registered in Ontario, Canada, handles information when you use our apps and this website. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Information we collect

• Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, and we use it only to respond.
• App data. Unless an app’s description says otherwise, the content you create in our apps stays on your device or in your own iCloud / Google account.
• Diagnostics. Some apps may receive anonymous crash reports and usage statistics, through Apple, Google or a privacy-focused analytics service, to help us fix bugs. These are not used to identify you.
• Location. Transport apps may ask for your location to show nearby stops or routes. Location is used on your device for that purpose and is not stored by us.

How we use information

Only to provide, maintain and improve our apps and to reply to you. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.

Third-party services

Purchases are processed by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies. Some apps rely on public data sources (for example, transit agencies’ schedule feeds). This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which may process standard technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the site.

Retention

We keep emails and support conversations only as long as needed to help you, and delete other data when it’s no longer needed.

Children

Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and other applicable laws, you can ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you. Email support@heedoo.app and we’ll respond within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
